Project Manager - Mozambique

Your Role

 

As the business continues to expand internationally, they are now looking to make a key Project Manager appointment in Afungi, Mozambique. Ideally, you will have worked in an international construction environment. If not, it is a must that you have worked on large civil projects and/or contracts.

As a Project Manager you will supervise the engineering activities and the development of technical documents in accordance with the contractual terms and specifications. You will be responsible for managing all activities involved in EPC projects, defining execution phases including HSE, engineering, detail design, construction supervision, contractual management, inspection, and quality control. Additionally, you will manage project costs, keep the projects on schedule, interface with regulatory authorities, and oversee plant start-up and turnover to the client.

  • Leadership and resources management;
  • Knowledge and practice of IT programs;
  • Problem-solving attitude;
  • Professional knowledge in English language.
  • Proficient use of MS office.
  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in Industrial Building Works projects (steel structure bldg.);
  • Strong track records : successful completion of similar in contract amount (70 Million Euro) and kind of works (construction company background) from start to finish;
  • Skilled in management of engineering activities and technical documents;
  • Knowledge of contract T&C in regards of construction projects;
  • Degree in Engineering.
