Background

 

Anzurra is working with a key client to carry out a Contract Engineer search for their international operations. Having invested heavily in the Nordic market, they are now looking to appoint a Contract Engineer to support the Contract Management department. 

 

Our client is a leading global construction group currently sitting in the top 20 worldwide for civil and infrastructure works. With a turnover of €10 billion EUR per annum and over 80,000 employees they are now recognised as one of the largest groups in the market.

 

Role

 

Based on site in Bergen, Norway you will be working with a major construction joint venture on a multi-billion euro transport infrastructure project.

 

  • Contract administration
  • Assistance, support and guidance to Project Management and related functions, in relation to contractual issues both towards the client (contractual progress, reservations, litigation, etc.) and to the competent public bodies (program agreements, conventions etc.)          
  • Monthly reports and preparing documents for claims
  • Payment applications
  • Variation orders and EOT claims
  • Claims writing and support
  • Client/employer side experience
  • Draws up and updates the reports required by the contracts. 
  • Supervises the management of contracts, the correct interpretation and implementation of administrative and contractual obligations, ensuring their compliance with the specific contractual requirements of the project

                                                                                      

 

                                                        

             

Requirements                                                                         

You will hold a Law degree or similar qualification and you will have experience working for main contractors specialised in civil infrastructure works. Court experience is also required.

 

Fluent English is essential, and Norwegian is desirable.

 

Minimum experience 5 years.
